KIWI: Onboarding KIWI

Your journey with KIWI is about to begin

1. Fill your first Pod

After opening the packaging, take the Pod out of the box, open the silicone cap of the Pod, fill it with the liquid of your choice, and close the silicone cap again.

2. Wait 10 minutes

Make sure the Pod and Pen are dry and free of liquid residue and once you have verified this, insert the Pod into the Pen. Wait 10 minutes for the liquid to moisten the Pod, avoid taste alterations, and start your experience using KIWI.

3. Charging procedure

Recharge the Pen with the original KIWI kit and be careful not to use the Pen while recharging via the cable to avoid possible device problems. You can also recharge the Pen by connecting it to the KIWI Powerbank, which allows you to use it even during the recharge phase.

Remember that when the K lights up red, it means that the Pen battery is running low and you need to recharge it.

The attention and care of your KIWI is the basis for a longer life of the device.

Change the Pod regularly

To ensure an optimal flavor experience, it's important to replace the Pod regularly. But when is the right time to do it?

According to the technical specifications, the average lifespan of a Pod depends on usage, but it is generally recommended to replace it every 7–14 days. A clear sign that it’s time to change it is a noticeable decrease in flavor intensity compared to when the Pod was new.

Remove the Pod when traveling by plane

Removing the Pod during air travel is recommended because the change in pressure could cause liquid leakage and therefore damage the Pen.

Use the Pen Cap to protect your Tips

The KIWI Pen Cap is an accessory made of 100% silicone. It provides effective and hygienic protection for the mouthpieces, preventing contact with dust and dirt when not in use.

Avoid high temperatures

A fundamental tip to avoid problems with your KIWI is not to expose it to high temperatures, these could overheat the device and damage the liquid inside the Pod.

Store KIWI in clean and hygienic spaces

When you are not using the KIWI, the way and place in which you keep it is very important. Try to avoid dirty and dusty spaces. Dust is certainly the main enemy, it can damage the Pen and impregnate your cotton Tips making them unusable.

Pay attention to the Pin of the Powerbank

Any liquid leakage could cause oxidation of the Pins on the Powerbank. Keeping the Powerbank clean and properly maintained helps prevent this issue, avoiding potential damage or even detachment of the Pins. If you notice that the Pod needs to be replaced and there is a risk of liquid leakage, do not connect the Pen to the Powerbank until the Pod has been changed.

Avoid detaching and reattaching Pen and Powerbank repeatedly

Repeatedly connecting and disconnecting the Pen and the Powerbank many times can lead to contact malfunctions. We, therefore, recommend that you connect and disconnect your Pen only when it is necessary for your experience.

To protect the device use the KIWI Case

A fundamental accessory that was created to better protect your Powerbank is the KIWI Case. Thanks to the silicone material, it protects the device from scratches and falls. In addition to the great utility, the new KIWI Case allows you to create many aesthetic combinations thanks to the availability of colors.

Use official KIWI cable and power supply

Included with the Starter Kit or the Pen, you will find the official KIWI cable. Use this cable to charge your KIWI device and maintain its battery health. The adapter is not included in the packaging at the time of purchase, but it can be purchased separately.
